Our Services
I provide medical management of a variety of mental health challenges for teens and adults. Mental illnesses such as depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders are complex and often best managed with a combination of psychotherapy, medications, and lifestyle changes. I provide medication management while working with you on a comprehensive plan to improve your mental health and well-being. Prescription medication is not always the right answer and rarely the only answer, which is why we also discuss lifestyle, nutrition, natural treatments, and overall well-being. Decades of research show that talk therapy and medications are both powerful and effective tools but are far more powerful together. I coordinate care with a number of therapists in the area so that we can better serve you.
Who I treat
Adults 18+ do not need a referral. I accept self-referrals and/or referrals from therapists or primary care doctors
Teens ages13-17 are only accepted to the practice with a referral from their therapist.
What I treat
I see clients with a wide variety of short and long term conditions including ADHD, depression, OCD, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
There are some conditions or situations for which I may not be the best resource. If that is the case, I may refer you to someone with more expertise in that area.
Prices
I am not in network and do not file claims for any insurance or Medicare. However, I can provide you with a bill that you can use to submit a claim to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. My prices per appointment are as follows:
Initial 60-minute appointment: $275.
This appointment will involve finding out about you, getting a good personal and medical history, doing some screening exams, establishing goals, and making an initial treatment plan. Many times, medications will be prescribed at this appointment, though not always.
Standard follow-up appointment: 20-30 minutes: $100
Complex follow-up appointment: $125.
This could include the need for extended time to coordinate care with your therapist or family doctor and extra time for more diagnostic testing. This will only be charged as needed.
