About Michelle
I am a board certified family nurse practitioner with 4 years experience in a local psychiatric practice. I am a South Carolina native, have been in the Clemson and Pendleton area for more than 20 years, and have collected 3 degrees from Clemson University. I am a part of the LGBGTQ+ community and endeavor to make my practice and my town truly welcoming to people of all faiths, ethnicities, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
After earning a psychology degree, I worked as a mental health social worker and case manager for 5 years before returning to Clemson to become a registered nurse. I spent 15 years working in critical and acute health care. I returned to Clemson yet again to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, and have been providing adult and adolescent psychiatric care ever since!
I am honored to partner with my clients to explore mental health symptoms and find solutions. I always strive to pair my knowledge and expertise with your deep knowledge about yourself and your life experiences. I would describe my practice style as connectional and collaborative. I am not here to tell you what to do. I am here to be on your team!
When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, reading books with my cats, traveling, and spending time with my daughter.
